What’s involved
First and foremost, a full case history and postural assessment is carried out. (Imbalances between your left and right whilst might not seem significant to you, can have an extraordinary influence on your insides.)
Testing of any structures that I’d like to know more detail about will then be carried out. This might be an active movements to see how well you move and/or testing of specific joints e.g. a hip exam.
An external pelvis and pelvic floor exam is then carried out. I will compare and contrast each side to gain a better inside of how well areas function.
An internal pelvic floor be carried out ONLY IF NECESSARY. This is to allow for a thorough diagnosis to be made, if existing exams and testing have not allowed me to do so.
